Dallas needs better QB play

There's no way in hell you can convince Jerry of that, maybe the new coach will insist that we draft a young QB to groom or something
 
Right now Dak is bad. Like really bad. Can he make good throws now and then? Sure. But he has zero awareness, has zero mobility now (for some reason), apparently now needs work on his "footwork" in year 9, and the first play of the last drive where he threw at three 49ers was so bad he had to be trying to get intercepted. Dak just stinks.
 
Of COURSE they do...Dak is playing really bad right now. Having said that, Mike McCarthy's offense has been exposed as basically a different iteration of the same offense that were run by the Garrett crew. Tons of stop routes and the lack of attacking the middle on a constant basis are still ever present. You would think that a guy that calls himself an offensive guy would recognize what his own defense has CONSTANT TROUBLE with and incorporate into his own offense, especially since he calls himself a WCO disciple. The 49er's, Saints, Lions ran crossing routes ALL DAMN DAY against them. Yet, the few times this year Dallas has properly executed crossing routes, they have been very successful - so, of course, they decide to stop running them. Make it make sense.

I thought the same thing.

With the defense being shaky and having multiple players out it's on the offense to step up and carry the team. And that starts at the top with the QB.

If Dallas had gotten better QB play the team probably would be 4-3 or 5-2, not 3-4.
 
Dak is in on it.

Lance must have absolutely no interest from anyone around the League if the Cowboys refused to let him play in the hopes they could trade him at deadline.

I guess eating the 4th round pick is better than embarrassing yourself by allowing him to play? Even if there was still a chance he came in and balled out for a couple of games?

Can Dallas keep running for 3.2 yards a carry?

Can we keep giving up 5.0 yards a carry?

After 7 games our opponents have more than twice as many yards rushing and twice as many rushing first downs.
 
Ask sucks and has always sucked, it’s nothing new. It is what it is, just more people are starting to realize they needed to eat crow a long time ago. Wishful thinking that didn’t pan out

Mountain has 8 TD's and 9 picks.

Dak has 10 TD's and 9 picks.

Now compare the defense and running game.

KC runs for 122 yards a game and gives up 82

Dallas runs for 74 and gives up 156.

KC gives up 17 points per game and Dallas 28.
