Can Drew deliver a 7th consecutive road win in the NFL? At some point he's bound to lose a road game (ironically the criticism of the day circa 2004 Buffalo was that Drew couldn't win on the road - letalone 3 consecutive road wins against playoff teams (St. Louis, Seattle, San Diego).

In any event, the Minnesota game won't be any easier, even with an injured McNabb, but if Dallas can win one of the next 2, a 3-2 record won't hurt their playoff push.

A win tomorrow might just mean a win next week as well.
One could give us the necessary momentum for the other.
Tomorrow could be HUGE for us.
But the odds are stacked against us.
We really need to be clicking for 60 full minutes on all sides.

Who cares about the media?

They need to split in order to keep within easy reach of a playoff spot.

Lose both and that means we're going to have to win 7 out of 11 to get in. I don't see it happening.

Sounds like the same situation the Commanders are in. I could give a crap what the media says, if you win games they can doubt and trash-talk until they're blue in the face. Wont change the standings.

The more you win the more people believe. The decimated Pats are still favored by a lot of people. Senseless.

Very true.

Yeah, I just can't believe the Pats will be there at the end.

First off,, has the IQ level over at ES dropped to a point you have to find a real board to post to??

But regarding the Pats, until they don't make the SuperBowl, they are the team to beat. 3 out of 4,, earned them that respect.

As far as us winning, The trick is to get to 9 wins before you get to 8 losses. For the first time in a long time i can say this with a straight face, We have the talent to beat anyone on our schedule. I have a feeling this team will get "hot" at some point and roll off a few wins in a row, like maybe 4 or 5. Winning these next two is a good start, but won't mean then end of the season if we don't.

Right.

The same team that has demonstrated they can overcome injuries and win each and every year.

Senseless.

I don't think McNabb will make it through the season. Hernia's get worse with physical activity. There is also the chance of infection if something gets hung up in the hernia. I know, I've had a Hernia.

and I still say we need to hit the halfway point at 5-3.... 6-2 would be better...lol

People doubt the Pats and they keep proving everyone wrong.

I'm still a doubter.

i agree about the 5-3 quote - we have a great chance at the playoffs if we get to 5-3, but i don't see 4-4 as reason to despair either. this team, for several reasons, should only get better as the season goes on.

1. Drew getting more comfortable in the offense.

2. Players more comfortable in the 3-4.

3. Rookies more comfortable in the NFL.

4. Coaching staff more comfortable with the playcalling, alignments, etc.

5. Players slowed by injuries will return to the active roster/improve their conditioning.

This team will get better as the season moves along...

The Patriots are the team to beat, and until a few teams do, their confidence alone can carry them through the tough times. They may be down, but not out by any means...
