But three teams are not at the WVU pro day.

Arizona, Seattle and Dallas.

....those teams are just being honest. Some are in love with Austin but I am not...certainly not in play for how high he'll go. We already have guys on the team who can play slot for alot less money than him and do it pretty darn well. I'm VERY critical of this front office and JJ but not this time.

You never know for sure with Jerry...could be another decoy.

But if you assume Gino Smith and Tavon Austin both go in the first round...and you also assume those are quite possibly the two positions (along with CB) that Dallas least needs to address in the 1st round, you can see why they would not be there.

I doubt if it means much other than the Cowboys are not interested in WR Austin or QB Smith...and (hopefully) they are masking their interest in WR Stedman Bailey in a later round possibility.

Stedman Bailey will be a steal for someone.

Great hands and great route runner. VERY underrated player IMO.

Cowboys did not bring in Claiborne for a workout and I do not remember if they went to his Pro Day. Doesn't mean much. Could have met with Tavon or Geno at the Combine.

Very well could be the case. Or it could be that they didn't want to draw attention to him. Either way it turned out okay for them.

I would be beyond mad. I like Austin as a player but not at 18 and not with what our current needs are.. If by the time we pick Austin is the best player on the board let a team like Minnesota or the 49ers trade for our pick to get him.. That way we can pick up some extra picks.

Also I really don't see him as a "Deep Threat"

To me a "Deep Threat" is someone who plays on the outside and can take the top off the defense. Austin is really more of a shifty slot guy.. he is a home run hitter in the sense that he can turn a bubble screen into a 48 yard touch down but he isn't really a guy that runs deep routes and tracks the ball he's more of a guy that runs short/intermediate routes and tries to make plays with the ball in his hands
