I think they should consider him and sit him so he can learn, he was thrown in the fire in Tampa, I don't think he learned the right way, bring him in and let him watch and learn behind Romo if it don't workout cut him.

So he doesnt want to sit in Tampa and learn, but hes getting on the fastest jet ever to come to Dallas and do it? Really?

Yeah Tampa resident and Freeman has been the talk of the town since last year. He gets around pretty often and likes the ladies more than he likes his paycheck. Maybe when he grows up.

What about JaMarcus Russell? I heard he is making a comeback!

i fell out of my chair, hell with it, sign him up too.

Brett Favre is in the best shape of his life. He can run a 4.40 40-yard dash, row 30 miles, bicycle 72.3 miles and do a million pushups.

I knew this thread was coming, but it's also not a bad idea. The Bucs are dysfunctional. Freeman potentially just needs a new start.
driving to workthis morning I had the same thought. If it did happen for a mid round Pick or lower, would we be willing to carry 3 QB this year? I like his upside.

His contract doesn't matter. He's high-risk, he's 25 right now, and we're not looking to have a new starter for at the very least, let's say, 3 years. At the level of risk Freeman represents, I'd much rather get a 22-year-old in one of the next couple drafts.

theres our man, right there, i dont care your combine stats, (never did) i dont care what you did in college, and i dont care what coach you had, that bicycle stat is the stat for me.

i remember his agent saying something like that, just a reason i dont listen to espn anymore.

Freeman is known as a lazy, complaining, uncommitted problem. He plays with so little heart.

The guy has been terrible and I highly doubt he wants to sit on the bench for the next 4+ years and by then, he wouldn't be considered a starter anymore anyway.

Josh Freeman had two years (2010 and 2012) where he threw 52 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. He has been inconsistent, and needs to improve his accuracy, but he isn't terrible by any stretch.

I wouldn't do it. Freeman's work ethic isn't very good, he is not a good QB and would hate to carry two high priced back up QBs.

For his cost, I would rather fill other needs.

He has the tools, just not the head or heart.

The one thing I always felt people did not take into account when "ranking" the QBs in the NFL....is the ability to suceed as a QB in DALLAS. The spotlight does not get any brighter. When you consider the state of the OL and the running game during the "Romo years"....I would say Romo has done about as good as any other QB in the NFL could have done in Dallas under these circumstances. My point? Freeman does not have the mental makeup to be a franchise QB in Dallas.

Nothing more here than the typical let's-sign-the-latest-guy-who-got-cut-thread. Although, technically Freeman hasn't been cut yet.

I wouldn't want Freeman anywhere near my team. Unless he is playing QB for the Washington Team, Giants or Eagles.
