They won by 1 point. Have we gotten 2 points better to get the win? I think we got this. No worries. Green Bay, here we come.

We can call the game in Green Bay the MVP Bowl playing for all the MVP marbles and a shot at the NFC title in Seattle.

ouch. Not to mention Randle was starting as Murray was injured and they had yet to discover the logic of rushing the football. Romo had 47 att or something like that. The safety play that day was god awful, I think Church got hurt and missed end of game.

and we didn't have the road grading offensive line that we do this year either

There's no doubt we are a much, much better team all the way around than last season. It's a game we should win. Hopefully we play up to our potential.

We didn't, true, but we never tried to run the ball. OLmen love to run the ball, they feed off it's success. They want to dictate terms. It carries over to pass blocking.

The defense was 3rd-string bad and so was the coaching in that game. I remember them trying to kill the clock at the end and they called for a screen pass to an RB...that he dropped and helped stop the clock for Stafford's comeback. Also, wasn't that the game where Bosworth took the kick return and instead of downing it in the field, he thought he had to run all the way out of bounds to stop the clock? lol. Maybe that was the Minnesota game.

Unfortunately, it was the Carr/Megatron matchup that was killing us. I hope Wilcox can help Carr contest some of those jump balls that are surely to come on Sunday.

I watched that game on nfl replay. I agree we are a different team this year but this won't be an easy game. Although our defensive players were horrible, they were able to create 4 turnovers in that game, which should be enough to win any game. Detroit consistently pressured Romo and the offense sputtered. In order to win this game, we must protect Romo better than we did last year. I expect a win, but certainly not overlooking this game.

I think Garrett did a better job of coaching 2013 than even this year. He had nothing to work with.

Hamilton and Heath were playing safety on the last drive. That about says it all.

I understand the point you're trying to make, but I can't agree with any of it.

We were a poorly coached, and poorly executing team last year.

We pulled a complete 180 this year and excel in both aspects.

The problem with that is two years from now people will be mentioning several of our defensive players now in a similar comparison. Hey, we don't have George Selvie and Nick Hayden and Jeremy Mincey anymore.
