Especially around the crinkly eyes.

I think McConaughey would be a good choice. He's got a youthful appearance and he's a Texas boy. He would understand how important a role it would be and I think he would do justice to it.

Ed Harris would be perfect if it were a more aged Landry. I agree with everybody on that. I don't know if they would cast him as a young Tom Landry thou. I guess we will see.

Ed Harris is awsome. I'd love to see him as Landry. I think you might be able to pull it off with a lot of make up work.

I'm also a big Gary Sinise fan. I think he'd be as good as Harris. But at 53, he's also a little old.

This is a film about Vince Lombardi. Tom Landry was 46 when Lombardi died in 1970. They need an actor who can be between 30 (Landry's age when he and Lombardi were coaching on the Giants and 46. Landry's age when Vince died.

They can age an actor, but they can't make one look half his age.

They need someone who is at most 40 years old with a youthful face that could look 30.

Robert Duvall is 78. Older than Landry was when he died. 11 years after he was out of coaching.

I think Abe Vigoda would be an excellent choice to play a young Landry.
