I like the intensity. We need some "bad guys" on this team...too many boy scouts. Keep him on the roster and turn him loose once his suspension is up. The coaching staff just needs to figure out how to properly harness his energy/rage and direct it towards opposing offenses. Could be a game changer.

The link from my second post. Post #2 in this thread. Her injuries were to the arm, shoulder, and face and she's being treated by a doctor from Fort Worth. As always, I'm sure that he did some wrong, but I'm not totally sold that it warrants two felony charges. There's always two sides to the story.

The injuries are indicated in the sportswire/USA Today article

I seen a report say she didn't have any injuries at the scene. That being said I'm sure everything will work out and wish these players would stop putting themselves in bad situations. They have to know people will tempt them and they must keep calm. I pray he and any body else gets the proper help if needed

Nothing a six figure settlement won't cure

Without their testimony the courts won't have much

He will still probably get a few games because he is a Cowboy(he probably deserves a game or 2)

• Holding a parking spot can be against the rules of the park but it's not illegal. I guess we may have different interpretations of illegal. To me illegal means it's a criminal offense. Against the rules is like bringing your own food into a movie theatre - definately against the rules and you can be asked to leave, but it's not a criminal offense.
• He's being charged w pc22.02.a2. - basically displaying a firearm during the commission of an assault. The assault was hitting or backing into the woman. The display of the firearm is self explanatory.

We will have to disagree on our interpretations. It's all good though. Hope he gets a handle on the situation.

It doesn't matter if she had injuries or not, if he admitted to striking her with a vehicle, that's assault with a deadly weapon. The fact he took his gun out is piling on to one of the dumber things I've seen lately.

If he was a normal, he'd be looking at felony probation at minimum. I'm not sure what he admitted to, but the state can pursue charges whether she settles or not if he confessed.

There is a 15 page Pet Peeves thread going on that is mostly about Road Rage and Parking lot disputes right here on CZ....... people get in cars and just lose their minds over merging and parking spots

Just today I had a guy try to run me off the road because I went all the way down the merge lane to merge instead of instantly trying to merge on the on ramp and backing everyone else up behind me

Ya think? I mean, that's the understatement of the year. This guy is a walking, ticking time bomb IMHO. You don't have to be a pop psychologist to suspect he's got some serious issues. We'll see how good Calvin Hill and the Cowboys shrinks are because this guy has already disgraced himself, the team and his family due to this incident. Should he be given a second chance? Probably not, but he'll got one.

Yeah, I mean her case is her seeing $$$ signs after she found out he was a Cowboy.

But, criminally, that doesn't matter. If he confessed to hitting her with his car, the DA can still pursue charges, even if she doesn't testify. Depends on the DA. I'm guessing he won't, but he could. I'm not even exactly sure what happened with the gun, I haven't paid that much attention, but if he was really stupid a DA could decide to go ahead with charges just to deter him from acting like an idiot with deadly weapons in the future.

good call. I forgot Washington is out there and likely is brought in. One thing Dallas does have going for them is lots of cap space to band aid these suspension after teams start making their cuts.
