Ok I haven't seen anyone bring this up so I'm going to. Why is it in clutch situations his kicks are off. Usually when he goes in to kick I'm not worried. But last season against Detroit he missed a clutch field goal when we were mounting the comeback. Green bay he missed one again when we were dominating. And Sunday against philly he almost missed the game tying field goal. What is going on with him? Thoughts?

yea, cause when the season is going poorly, we need to ensure everyone is called out regardless of their known reputation of being the most accurate kicker in the history of the nfl.

damn the man. we need another.

my thoughts are people are bored and looking for things to get potentially mad about.

i think your right on OP and Ive been thinking the same thing about L. P. Ladouceur. His snaps have been a bit off to the left by a few inches late in games. I know hes never had a "bad" snap but he's just not been perfect enough

yea, cause there's going to be a new rule under discussion in the offseason.

if you go right down the middle, it's 4 points. you lose points as you move off to the side. hit the upright and it still goes in, no points awarded as you suck.

If he doesn't rush the kick it gets blocked...he still made it and not every kick will split the uprights down the middle...I remember when our chances to make a kick were 50/50...I'm not worried about Dan at all...

Yep. I'll take 95% over 50% 100% of the time.

Who was that guy who got an INT after he kicked the ball off his foot early in the season? Was it Wilcox? They might've ruled that it hit the ground. I can't remember. Anyway, maybe we should give that guy a chance. We could use the extra roster spot.

We got a third string QB throwing pick 6's every other game, a defense that never shows up in the 4th quarter and you want to complain about our perfect kicker that almost missed a FG? Where are your priorities, man? Can't you see we have bigger fish to fry than waste time talking about our, most accurate of all time kicker. If that's you worry on this team, get a life.

Of the many things to gripe about, Dan Bailey's kicking is not one of them.

Don't listen to the smart-alecks, that's a legit observation. Is it worth worrying about? Probably not. But there has been a tangible difference in his high pressure kicks.

That is all I was getting at. Not hating on bailey at all. Just pointing out my observation and I get ridiculed. Great way to treat fellow fans let me tell you.
