He is on the radio now. I only jotted down what he said about the Cowboys:

Reeves: I dont think I have ever seen a game where the Cowboys rushed for 1 yard

Reeves: Skins got after it and was very physical against the Cowboys

Reeves: Springs and Smoot can match up with any receiver

Reeves: Washington is a very hot team won 4 in a row. Commanders have a chance to win against Seattle

Cowherd: So you like the Commanders against the Seattle?

Reeves: I was really impressed with what they did to Dallas. T.O. was a big weapon for them and he was the only one they missed on offense and the Commanders shut them down

Reeves: Cowboys have to be concerned at the way they have played in the last month.

Reeves: Don't seem to be in rythmn

Reeves: Skins shut them down on 3rd downs

Reeves: The motivation has not been the greatest because they had the #1 seed and a bye

Reeves: If they don't do well in the Playoffs, it will be phenomenal

Thought this was an interesting non-Cowboy stat by Dan Reeves:

"Every starter on the Indianapolis Colts has never played for another team."

Maybe I'm wrong, but did TO not score 4 touchdowns last time he played? Who was covering him last time? Him being the only one we missed on offense (aside from our pro bowl starting center, right?) is a pretty big damn deal, at least in my estimation.

Not sure how many was on Smoot but, Mike Ditka absolutely ripped Fred Smoot earlier this week. Ditka said the guy is good for a laugh but he can't cover my Grandma.

Smoot does concern me. I admire his effort and emotion but he is not a starting corner. I hope he doesn't get too exploited tomorrow.

Smoot had nothing to do with TO's TDs the first time. It was mostly the safeties.

Smoot was beaten like a rented mule on Sunday, though. Glenn torched him early, and he only prevented a TD by grabbing Glenn (maybe should have been PI instead of holding, not sure if ball was in air) then Miles whooped him twice - the first Miles dropped and the second Smoot actually defended because Brad Johnson throws like my wife.

Dan, that's just ridiculous. Watch Smoot get worked tomorrow.

Reeves: The motivation has not been the greatest because they had the #1 seed and a bye
Finally, some sense.

This was mentioned during the last Colts game broadcast. Impressive.

TO was busting the Washington zone coverage schemes on each one of his TDs, and technically nobody was ever matched up with him in those situations. Gregg Williams was quoted as saying that he regretted not giving his corners a chance to play straight up.

Springs has been playing at a very high level over the past 4 weeks so it would be interesting how he'd match up agains Owens if Washington somehow managed to make it to the divisional playoffs.

He might have a small edge since TO won't be close to 100%, but my real concern is Smoot.

The Cowboys pretty much had their way with him and if it wasn't for all those dropped passes he might be looked at as the goat of the season.

Losing Rogers early in the season was huge, I'd be much more comfortable with Smoot playing as a nickle corner.

i don't understand reeves' comment here. the 1-yd effort is the lowest in franchise history. what does the comment mean that he has never seen it before? doesn't that go without saying...

He was saying it more in disbelief and to punctuate his concern at the crappy effort that was put forth by the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys Pro Bowl center didn't play either.
