Elliot has one of the quickest burst I've seen. He goes from handoff to through the hole and it looks like my tv reception just skipped a beat.

Someone mentioned the 6'8" Oakman from Baylor. I'm sure every Cowboy fans who lived through the 70's and 80's would love to see a modern day version of Too Tall out there. I'm sure a lot of Cowboy fans are Baylor fans as well. Early internet mocks have him all over the place. I've seen top 3 pick and I've seen him going late 1st round. Hard to get a good read on him. Good news is there are a lot of really decent LDE types in next year's draft, which could be a major need for us.

Joey Bosa, Ohio State 6-5/285
Robert Nkemdiche, Ole Miss 6-4/280 *also projects as a 3Tech
Shawn Oakman, Baylor 6-8/278
DeForest Buckner, Oregon 6-6/286
Shillique Calhoun, Michigan State 6-4/257
Emmanuel Ogbah, Oklahoma State 6-4/270

I mentioned Oakman earlier, I think he ends up as a 3T or possibly a LDE who moves inside on pass rushing downs. I see he as a better version of Preston Smith.

I'm a huge Elliott fan, but unless we're unexpectedly picking early in the 1st he will probably be gone before our pick. I think he's almost as good of a prospect as Gurley.

Bosa, no chance. He will be the 1st pick thats not a QB next year and some team is going to get a star. Guy would have easily graded out as the top prospect this year and I think higher than Clowney. He would have to beat his girlfriend on the white house lawn to fall to Dallas.

I'm not a big Buckner fan at all. The others I haven't even glanced at yet.

If we are in a position to draft Shawn Oakman it means the entire season went down the drain.

Pretty much lol. I think we have zero chance to get him unless Romo goes down early in the season. I think he goes top 10.

I doubt he comes out next year, but if he does, I'd hope we made a move up for him. He's got all the yphysical tools: 6'4 225 lbs w/ a big arm and moves around the pocket nicely. It's time to start grooming Romo's replacement. He's not getting any younger, and this kid would a great successor imo.

Unless Romo goes down early next year, we likely won't have the ammo to move up to get him. He's the likely candidate for the #1 pick next year and picking in the mid to late 20's will make it near impossible to move up to #1. I think the package would start with 3 1st rd picks and at least 2 2nds. Even that may not be enough.

Hackenberg took a step back this year without Bill O'Brien. Toward the end of the season, he was back on path though.

He's my favorite QB prospect in all of college, but I think he'll go much higher than we'd be able to maneuver up and draft.

He definitely regressed a bit, but he also had a lot of new, young guys on his O-line and it showed. He was under duress a ton last year.

As far as Bill O'Brien goes, I wouldn't be surprised to see him sell the farm to move up and grab his former prized recruit. Houston needs a QB in a bad way, and you know they already have a good relationship. Would just make a lot of sense.
