I don't think I'll be able to take it if the Eagles get Foster. Not after last year with Wentz.

Corner.....yippee
I have all but resigned myself to it being a corner at this stage. I just would prefer we pick one who fits what we say we want, which is a big tough one who can tackle and be a regular on the perimeter as opposed to probably better for the slot. Not sold that Jackson is that player.

I also have a weird vibe about him, he has some diva Deion action going on. Talks about money a lot.

Both Dane and DJ projecting it today.

He better be legit. The return stuff doesn't even interest me because if the guy's a starter you're not going to let him return much at all. So it's a moot point. Dez Bryant is a really good return man too. So what? It never comes to fruition.

That's the thing. We talk about how players bring more to the table with return ability but then forget about the fact we have a gutless philosophy when it comes to that. This is the same organization that didn't ride Ezekiel Elliott until his legs fell off in the playoffs. So then you have to start to evaluate the player as a pure contributor at his position and then evaluate off of that. Jackson falls short to me.

no way Howard goes 6th overall
I get the fit doesn't seem right with the Jets, but I think Howard goes a lot earlier than people think.

This is a weird class in the top 5-10. Injuries and health questions have shaped it, so has the lack of a top QB.

Thing is a lot of these mocks really don't involve a lot with the actual team fit. Jeremiah made some really odd projections, sometimes looking like he really didn't think about it. People keep saying Solomon Thomas, but does he truly fit the 49ers? I don't see that at all.

I am not comfortable with Jackson starting for us, he gives way to many big plays for my liking.I like him but only in the 2nd rd.

18 of 32 picks are either on the DL or Secondary. Can't say I actually see that coming to fruition on day 1.

My thoughts...
I still dont buy D Watson not going top 10
Id be shocked if Mcafferey goes top 10, I think he should be a 2nd rounder
Be very suprised and dissapointed if D Cook drops to Giants
I like all players he has listed from pick 28 thru 32 so would be verry happy if we got our choice of those guys, love a jax

It is tough to let a starter return ala dez but I think you only take him if you factor in using him as a bit of an all around weapon like we used deon in 95. Id even send him deep!

I think Wilsons the safer bet but A Jax is dripping with talent and feet you just dont see that often, he could easily prove to be one of the top 5 talents from this draft in a couple years.

His improvement rate and willingness to mix it up is impressive to me. Hes got some things to work on but hes got that dog in him and id love to have him if our fo feels strong about him

Wish he was 6ft like deon though
