i can see why he wants to leave, but don't say that you wanna be a cowboy and then got to one of, if not, the most hated rival we have. personally i liked the guy cause i thought he had somethin special, but i jus wanted that special to saty with the big D.

Players seem do that kinda thing all the time.

Every disgruntled Packer wants to first become a Viking or a Bear. Favre tried it last offseason, Longwell did it, some of GB's other high profile receivers and defensive backs have done it over the years...

You stop feeling welcome and wanted with one house so not only do you leave you switch sides, flip the coin, and land in the house that serves as the antithesis to the one you were just at.

It's that Benedict Arnold thing.

Thats not to imply, exactly, that Amendola is either a traitor or even feeling disenfranchised. Actually I don't know what the heck I'm trying to imply, other than to say that switching to a rival team seems to be quite in tune with human nature.

He's not exactly broke, relatively speaking.

17 weeks on the practice squad at $5200/week = 88400

Soooo, are you dumping me for him?

Puleaaassssseeee. I would do it in a second and so would you.
The true "rival" comes from the fans. Did you not see the tread about how sad the team was after losing to them last week? They didn't seem to mind near as much as the fans did.

i wouldn't if i ever made it to Dallas i ain't goin no where.

I doubt many other teams are knocking his door down. You guys are acting like he is some stud WR. He is an undrafted undersized WR who was lucky enough to make it to the PS. He is a hard worker evidently and it may pay off for him but the odds are not very good for guys like Amendola and there are a whole new group of Amendolas coming in the next draft, undersized hard working kids with long odds of making it in the NFL

There goes our Super Bowl next season!

Man ever since the Philly game I've been dreaming up quick fix schemes, how to get this team back on track, and Danny was central to every single one.

We are screwed.

i'd much rather have a bunch of guys who work hard and wanna do better than the most talented team with the laziest guys...

This a no brainer for the kid. He stays with Dallas and the paychecks end -- signing with Philly just got him three more weeks of pay. Active roster pay no less.

You didn't see what we saw, man.

Danny "Man with the Hands" Amendola is gonna make the cut.

Dick Vermeil sez: "why don't you hang onto that playbook, Danny?"
