Dante Moore returning to Oregon

Not sure who is advising him but this is as stupid as it gets
Why?? He’s obviously getting more from Knoght and Fuxx NIl donors than he’d make going to the draft. He obviously doesn’t want to risk having to play for the bowl cut dude.

2025 2nd round pick contract:

Here are the key details of the contract, based on standard rookie wage scale slots for the 2025 draft class:
  • Total value: $46,649,126
  • Average annual value (AAV): $11,662,282
  • Signing bonus: $30,566,636 (a major upfront payment, fully guaranteed)
  • Structure: 4 years, with base salaries escalating each year (e.g., approximately $8.5 million in Year 1, scaling up to around $14.8 million in Year 4, plus the prorated bonus impact on the cap)
I wouldn't want to play for the Jets either, but his decision makes no fiscal sense. Oregon brought in another starter. What am I missing? Could he be negotiating for the Jets to trade the pick?

This is a head scratcher to me.

I think these guys just love college and the NIL deals allow for them to stay. In this draft he’s probably the second QB taken and a top 10 pick.
Yep
Gotta strike while the iron is hot
Too many variables including injuries, coaching issues (both OC and DC leaving), team not performing well, next year is a much better QB class

Bad decision IMO

Probably transferring to another top program like indiana or Miami who will need a QB but a total crap shoot IMO

See my post 2 posts above

Smart move. That dude can’t play in the NFL yet. He’s not ready

The QB crop sucks after Fernando. Poor Jets will never find one

Raiola better get his Ducks in a row. He had a broken Fibula. That is not a reason to redshirt next year. He will be fully healthy by the start of the season. If he stays as the backup at Oregon, he will be hurting his draft stock. He was already a top 5 QB for the 2027 draft. I would be on the next flight out of Eugene.

Mistake because next years draft class at Qb is absolutely stacked.

He also only has 20 starts in college which isn't a recipe for success. NIL gives him the luxury of making this decision, and he gets to avoid the QB purgatory of the NYJ. He was never going #1. Mendoza has that locked up.
