Not sure who is advising him but this is as stupid as it gets
Why?? He’s obviously getting more from Knoght and Fuxx NIl donors than he’d make going to the draft. He obviously doesn’t want to risk having to play for the bowl cut dude. Not sure who is advising him but this is as stupid as it gets
Yeah cause 2027 going to have a lot of qbs coming outNot sure who is advising him but this is as stupid as it gets
The NIL pays more than first year rookie contracts maybe? Not sure who is advising him but this is as stupid as it gets
I think these guys just love college and the NIL deals allow for them to stay. In this draft he’s probably the second QB taken and a top 10 pick. Not sure who is advising him but this is as stupid as it gets
I think that’s it but damn you just never know what will happen. The NIL pays more than first year rookie contracts maybe?

Probably transferring to another top program like indiana or Miami who will need a QB but a total crap shoot IMO2025 2nd round pick contract:
Here are the key details of the contract, based on standard rookie wage scale slots for the 2025 draft class:
I wouldn't want to play for the Jets either, but his decision makes no fiscal sense. Oregon brought in another starter. What am I missing? Could he be negotiating for the Jets to trade the pick?
- Total value: $46,649,126
- Average annual value (AAV): $11,662,282
- Signing bonus: $30,566,636 (a major upfront payment, fully guaranteed)
- Structure: 4 years, with base salaries escalating each year (e.g., approximately $8.5 million in Year 1, scaling up to around $14.8 million in Year 4, plus the prorated bonus impact on the cap)
This is a head scratcher to me.

How? They just brought in dylan Raoula. He didnt go to Oregon to sit.
He also only has 20 starts in college which isn't a recipe for success. NIL gives him the luxury of making this decision, and he gets to avoid the QB purgatory of the NYJ. He was never going #1. Mendoza has that locked up.Why?? He’s obviously getting more from Knoght and Fuxx NIl donors than he’d make going to the draft.
