6' 220 and his workout #'s at the Michigan pro day were reportedly 4.4 40 with a 41" vert and 11'-1" broad. Only started his Sr year and had 208 carries for 1078 yards (5.2 YPC) and 14 TD's. Kiper was on Philly radio this morning gushing about this kid and not hard to see why. He looks like a man vs boys at times. 1 of the more interesting mid-late RB's in this draft class. Power and explosion jump out at you watching him, his SPARQ score would probably be pretty damn high. Looks like he has pretty good hands too.

To find the next Thomas Rawls would be a plus. Can he pick up the blitz?

Don't know about this kid to really comment other than to say RB is the easiest position to find gems after the 1st round. Almost a given every year.

Been posting about this kid for little while now. In fact, I just posted in another thread. I really like this kid. He is not afraid of contact and has the ability to make you pay if he hits the crease.

great bang for buck if we could grab him in the sixth.

There is another RB that looks like a great late round pick out of San Jose State names Tyler Ervin if anyone is interested in looking him up.

Seems to have a much better grasp (groan...) on how to hold the ball without fumbling compared to Murray.

Yeah, his numbers are very impressive. Here is how he compares against the top 10 rated backs in this draft:

Forty: 3rd Fastest 4.40 (his quickest time was a 4.38)
Twenty: Fastest 2.51
Ten: Fastest 1.56
Bench: 3rd Best 20
Vert: Best 41"
Broad: Best 11'1"
Shuttle: 3rd 4.29
3Cone: Best 6.87

The only one who is really close to him, as far as measured testing is Lasco from Cal, who I also like. He's probably not as smooth or as elusive as an Elliot but if you are looking for a one cut, accelerate through the whole and run down hill with power back behind a ZBS, this is a pretty nice prospect. Catches the ball pretty well, lead blocks, pass blocks (although he needs to clean up his technique but he's willing which is most of it). I sound like a Fuller Brush sales guy here but I kinda like this kid.

He looks good and the measurables show that he is explosive...

4.4 with a 41 inch vert? Wow.

I like the way he carries the ball, but he runs too high. He doesn't run under his pads. And he doesn't appear as fast as 4.4. It's hard to tell with him because the level of competition. But I don't think he'll go before the fifth round, if he gets picked at all.
