Of course, there are "name brand" options, but the presser today had me persuaded Schotty was serious that whoever gets hired is going to be a communicator, ostensibly someone known for exactly that.

I'll throw one out there.

Charlie Strong was a defensive line coach for Steve Spurrier while Schotty was backing up Wuerffel at Florida. And of course, many if not most here are aware of all of Strong's different lilypads at the top programs (including Texas and Florida). Their paths crossed again in Schotty's one season under Urban Meyer at JAX. Right now, he's back at d-line coach for Todd Bowles in Tampa.

Soooooo... if you're asking me for a dark horse candidate, he's my guy. Google it. You'll find like I did that communication has been considered Strong's best asset for a long while.

Charlie Strong is hard-nosed too. But great teacher. I kinda thought he got a raw deal at Texas. Not sure he's the answer.

Jim Leonhard is 43 played safety in the NFL and along with Vance Joseph they have one tough defense in Denver . Being in charge of the secondary in Denver Surtain is on another level would love to see Dallas transformed .

In particular could Leonhard as DC get Cowboy DB’s to actually challenge completions .

Christian Parker 34 worked with Fangio in Denver followed him to Philadelphia and helped develop Surtain in Denver now works as defensive pass game coordinator with the Eagles who have some pretty stout secondary play . Leonhard & Parker young coaches from winning programs on functioning defenses

Here you go. I think this guy played for the Broncos and coached for the Colts. I heard he will surprise many people. I heard it straight from the horse's mouth.

He's going to get a HC job -- get real with your expectations. He's going to be the new Raiders' coach. Brady is going to get Flores. He's an outstanding coach. I expect we will see a few more Patriots associated folks join -- Mayo seems a lock
Feels so good

Still an improvement over Flus
Jerry will have to evaluate them both in the lockeroom shower stall for the final winner........Aikman can confirm this method.

Durde. Highly thought of my the FO

Its unclear if he is hireable. He is Seattle's DC, but according to Fisher since he isnt a playcaller a DC job with playcalling duties would be a promotion

He's AHC with a great organization and HC now. Hard to see why he'd take a step down to work for this clown show.

I wouldn’t be so sure. He may audition I assume thinking Raiders would go for an offensive head coach finally. I also think Flores time In Miami has teams afraid to take him on as a head coach but pure assumption.

Exactly. Two scenarios in Denver. Joseph gets another shot at HC and takes Leonhard with him, or Joseph leaves and Leonhard stays as Denver's DC. Probably the only shot he will be available is if Joseph doesn't get a HC job and stays in Denver. Leonhard might want to take his shot elsewhere.
