nope start again... Mike Mcdonald brought that defense to the Seahawks from the Ravens, ravens are faltering, seahawks are on the way up it's because Mike Mcdonald is the one who designing and calling the plays in Seattle,

this is a Eric bienemy all over again, you can't trust that he knows enough yet and is ready when he is just the DC in title only, He's a yes man to Mike Mcdonald.

So somehow you think you correlate he would have already had this defense this style had he just stayed with the Cowboys and never have worked under Mike Mcdonald are you serious?

No if we were going to do that you should have just interviewed Al Harris and maybe kept Al Harris after Zimmer left not instead of Zimmer the only reason Zimmer left is he got sour grapes because I think he thought he'd be up for the head coaching position...

So right now if you wanna make him a candidate to interview I'm OK with that But let's not have our blinders on here this is not his defense he did not have this defense two years ago...
I was very impressed with Durde when he was with the Cowboys. All I heard was great things from players, coaches, analysts.....

I read and heard that he was a really good teacher. He should be a great student of the game, given his unusual background.

He has to be partially responsible for the Seahawks success, I'm sure he played a part in bringing D-Law to Seattle and I'm that he has even more knowledge from being around McDonald.

As they say, the proof is in the pudding. In vbotgh 2022 and 2023 the seahawks defense is ranked #25 and today they are #1.

Even if it was totally McDonald, one of the resources he made use of was his DC, Durde.

I'm not arguing that the Cowboys should look at him now, but I think you're way off base you think he has a lot to do with it it's like saying Eric Bienemy was like the key to Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes success in Kansas City, he left there, did nothing after.

I'm no expert with the Lions but didn't the Lions just simply elevate one of their own after Ben Johnson left and what happened he got the play calls took back from him because it wasn't working as well, I don't care if you're on the staff and you're under these guys you're still not those guys.

This happens a lot with coordinators, that aren't calling the plays, they're not really designing anything, they're just relaying messages, Its there go between, they're representing and helping the players adapt,

i'm sure he's learning something now but to act like somehow two years ago the Cowboys hired him instead of Mike Zimmer that somehow they're where the Seahawks are you're nuts...

I get it that's what we're looking for now and maybe now he's picking up something from Mike Mcdonald so yeah right now he should be a consideration to bring on to our staff in some capacity but I'd let them work through the list they've already did zoom interviews with and try to get some face to face and see where that goes first...
