Great move not tying him up to a long-term deal. I think the best signings are Hall of Fame caliber players on short-term contracts. It's hard to get someone to agree to something like that, but you sure are lucky when you can. I think he'll be great for New England. They're putting together a solid little defense. They have some great LBers and edge rushers. They could probably use another edge rusher and a safety though.
