If you read about the details of that shooting, it doesn't take long to realize protocols by security were not followed. This incidents smells of multiple lawsuits. I pity the fool that owned that nightclub. Thank god their were no deaths.

Depends on who you hire, I've worked security in that area, you don't even need LE if you have the right guy. I feel bad it keeps happening to DMac.

They just really don't know how to do it, that is downtown, shouldn't have happened. Most muscle heads just really don't know how to bounce.

Lots of things make LE better than security

• They can arrest peeps
• They can use force, up to lethal if the situation warrants it
• They have almost unlimited back up if needed - private security/club security is limited to personnel on hand
• Partygoers really don't want to mess with LE - the repucussions are much worse then messing with security. Assaulting an officer is a felony, assaulting security is a misedemeanor
• Better trained

It really doesn't take all of that, as security you want to make people not want to shoot you. If you need LE although your right noone wants them, fine, but the first way to diffuse the situation is that guy, as you said the doorguy, who they don't want to hurt.

Its not the safest place to be, but everyone should know what he is dealing with. He's just in a bad position from the git go....yeah I'm talkin Raiders too. He wasn't a bust, he was just dealing.
