I forgot to mention that when I was on the way to work this mourning, I heard Mike Greenberg on Mike & Mike say that Darren Sharper supposedly said that after playing the Cowboys and Green Bay that Favre would carve up the Cowboys Defense.

Sharper is a classic talker.

It'll be nice to show him up, but first things first.

Bring on the Jets.

Talk is cheap. We'll find out on the field soon enough.

If this really is a Super Bowl team, then we take care of business.

I guess we will find out. Phillips is not going to use the game game plan vs GB as we have used with 2 teams who like to run in NY and Washington

Hard to argue with that right now, but if Henry gets healthy and we can get to playing some tough man to man and bring some heat on the QB, I like that scenario better than a soft zone with #31 and #35.

Really? Because I expect at least 3 INTs out of Brett Favre. :laugh2:

Favre probably will shred the Cowboys D, but the Cowboys offense will probably have to make up for it.

31-28 Dallas.

I don't know if I can disagree with this until the secondary proves they can stop decent quaterbacks that have the ability to spread us out.

Eli Manning did it
Tom Brady did it
Brett Favre...to be determined

Eli did it in game 1 not the second time we faced them. Brady has been playing great against everyone. Brett you take the good and the bad with him. He leads all QB's in TD passes for a career by the same token he leads all QB's with ints. I expect a tough game from GB but if fans would analyze the Packers by the same standards they hold the Cowboys too I'm sure you will fine faults in GB as well which is why so many are picking Dallas to win that game.

I am just saying we have not fared too well against teams with
A) The personnel to spread us out
B) An above average Quarterback

Green Bay has both of these elements and it has been quite toxic and kryptonite to our defense.

I have always felt that the best way to attack the Cowboys is to spread them out and attack certain elements in the Secondary. Every team in the National Football League has a weakness, including the New England Patriots. I just happen to feel that ours is defending a team with the aforementioned elements, but to be fair, alot of teams struggle with it.

I think Dallas adjusted from the 1st time we played NYG and sacked Manning 5times in the game. I think Dallas D will attack GB differently that we did with Washington yesterday. If you send that many into the rout then you are not protecting the QB and I think Dallas will be able to force Brett into big mistakes. I was not thrilled with the play of the secondary yesterday but I also don't think they are as bad as you are making them out to be. We will see.

A bit off topic, but I've been noticing the Packer fans sure are cocky. I'd like to see them get shut up.

When you eat that much cheese you have to find a way to convince yourself that the ramifications don't stink, such is the mindset of the Green Bay area.
