Thats darn fast he's off depth charts - usually they are way behind.

I ask all Cowboy fans to listen to Parcells and PC. Forget the recap - listen to BP.

This is more than a "stinger". Something went down here. I sense it started at the PC where BP was informed Dat was out via press via agent. That led to DNP coaches decision.

At one point BP said on Dat - He's used to hiding behind behind people - can't do that in this defense. Said Shanle more physical and hits it in there better.

Shanle started when Dat ready.

Then when Shanle went down Dat told Fowler to go in I believe I read. Then Fowler starts over Dat.

Parcells really went as far as he goes to sat Dat was broken down emotionally and physically. Beat up were his words - the pounding taking a toll on him. Insinuated that Dat knew he was losing the ability to hold up.

This story is not over and it was not just a "stinger" here. Listen to BP - this goes real deep - he opened up and thats not his norm.

I think Dat plays again in the NFL - somewhere else next year.

Go listen - bet you don't have the discipline to listen to the PC's. Take Inman recaps and start posting away.

Go play first 7 minutes really. Then play last 30 seconds.

What exactly are you trying to say here?

Im having trouble following, just come out with what you are getting at?

Are you saying this is Parcells' way of getting rid of him?

We all can tell it is more then a stinger, his injury was much more serious then that.

No offense, but have you considered putting that in your sigline? I'd probably read it less if it were there permanently rather than in every post. Yes, Dat is small. I get the point.

I can't believe you bring back up your "agenda" even when we lose a great Cowboy like Dat.

If thats all you think about I really don't think you can call yourself a fan.

Good luck to you Dat!

He's laying the ground work for his next spot on prediction.

He won't be happy until every player in our front 7 is gone, he's hoping for injuries to Glover and Ellis as we speak, since it took injuries to rid him of Al and Dat.

Really?

I just dont understand why he chooses to pickup on one comment Parcells made but ignore the ones where he called Dat "that football playing dude" and when he said Dat could play for him anywhere.

If Dat was healthy, he would still be on the field. Mickey said that he feels Parcells and the staff actually talked Dat into coming back to play after he missed those games on the Ranch Report and I would buy that.

I thinnk Parcells likes the guy and would have found a way to get rid of him a long time ago.

Hell, Dextor had more Skins on the wall then Dat did and he found a way to rid himself of him.

And a player can get hurt in a 3-4 just as easily as playing a 4-3 or vice versa.

There is more to this story than meets the eye.

Dat was a good player and deserves a nice hand. That said - we are in a playoff hunt and he's been beaten up and not emotionally/physically ready to play football for 2 months.

I have Parcells down - there is an iceberg here when this chapter ends. And its not a "loose disc" - thats JMO

Its easy to be PC here - I care less. There is a bigger story here.

You expect logic and a fair representation of the facts from him?

Come on Mick, you have been around long enough to know better.:D

If he wanted to get rid of Dat. He would of traded him. Wasn't there an offer for Dat in the offseason?

Hahahahaha

You are gonna kill me for this, but I actually like Nors. I dont understand what he is trying to say sometimes and alot of times I dont like what he is saying LOL, but he does bring some knowledge to the table and keeps the boards popping with some of his...well I guess "unique perspectives" on things regarding the Great Dallas Cowboys.

Like somebody said a while back (I think it was Sarge when he was on one of his tears LOL), hell, give me some good football players on defense and I will show you positive results.

Dat would be on this team still if he wasnt injured. If anything, Parcells seems like the type that is quick to move on when he knows a guy has the "R" word rolling around in his head.

When I get board at work, sometimes I enjoy seeing you, Hos, Nors, and some others go at it with each other.

Nors' recent showdown with Jimmy40 had a chance to be a classic, but CBz came in and spoiled the fun :banghead: .

Slander is NOT written.

That aside, why would you hope he's right on this?

I didn't slander Dat - Dat is a good player that does not physically have the ability to perform in this defense. He is physically and emotionally defeated. Thats Parcells words.

Cool to say Nors sux but go play BP PC - serious.

He's not an all time great Cowboy - but a very good player. I'll take the heat for saying all is not being said right now..... I know BP and he went off course twice now - and thats not BP

I suspect Dat plays again in the NFL.

I think it's just the opposite of what Nors is saying. Only if Parcells had the utmost respect for Dat would he even have conversations about his future with him or let him determine when he was comfortable coming back from an injury.

We've all seen how Parcells deals with both injuries and questionable attitudes in his players: He denies and ignores injuries, and he won't stand for players who aren't tough or aren't giving their all. Only in the case of a player who has earned Parcells' trust would he treat a player the way he's treated Dat.

MG -

Great post - differing opinions make for a discussion board. Nuff said.
