Dateline has a program on tonight at 7pm Eastern about males obsessed with football and their neglected wives. One of the stories focuses on an obsessed guy who won't do chores during Cowboy games. LOL!

I got it bookmarked...it's going to be real funny!

Especially the guy that has a plastic human skull that he calls "Skully"! He finishes a beer while watching a game and yells to his wife, "Skully says get me another beer!"

:laugh2:

Well if a wife is demanding that the husband do a "chore" at any time then there is something seriously wrong with that marriage in the first place.

A marriage is about two people loving and respecting each other.....not doling out responsibilities like a parent to a child.

Football has nothing to do with it. We just hate doing chores.

You are either single or recently married.

my wife is out and about on Sundays during football season. Better phone a friend, go shopping, etc.

I saw the Giants fan one. The funniest one about it was when the wife kept asking, "why?" when he told her she couldn't move, as if she didn't already know...

But man, I'd be a bad/weird husband if it meant meeting my favorite player.

Dateline. If their editors are making a million bucks a second......they're still under-paid. All the real stuff they have to cut an finagle to fit their agenda.
Am I in a mood?

I see you enjoy trips to the mall while the boys are playing.

My wife yaps and complains but for the most part doesn't bother me during games, except to go to the car to help her with the groceries she insists on getting Sunday morning.

Nope, my wife is really good about letting me have my time to watch the game every time they play, and other games for that matter, but marriage is give and take and family is more important than the game, if it's something that the wife really needs help with, I don't have a problem with it, but I can't recall anytime that has happen though. And I DO have a VCR anyway.

Besides, time to watch the Cowboys hasn't really been worth fighting with the wifey over anyway the last several years. During a superbowl run now that's alittle different.:)
