No ill-will from me, good luck in South Beach Arkin. Don't drink too many mojitos!

Meh. He didn't see the active roster in 3 years despite our ineptitude and injuries on the interior OL.
Poor player, nothing more to be said.

Never understood why we hold onto a guy THAT long that we had ZERO confidence in. Can someone explain that to me?

That was the hard part for me to understand. I felt Arkin played well in the preseason, but the Cowboys showed no confidence in him.

Of course, maybe they felt he was at least better than some scrub they could pick up off the street if they needed an extra lineman.

It might have been best for Arkin, though, if he went to a team that is fully committed to a zone blocking scheme. His movement skills are a strength, while strength is still an issue (just not as big of one as it had been).

I hate that we lost him , never giving him the opportunity to prove that he can play or not. Now he will get the chance and if he ends up being another Brian Waters I will a little bit pissed and happy for the young man.

Could end up being another Harvey Dahl, but I doubt he'll ever approach Waters' level. (The difference, of course, is Dahl didn't get any chance to develop in Dallas while Arkin has had several years ... and has shown some improvement.)
