Missing four games to begin the NFL season due to a suspension did nothing to slow his impactful ways, with the
Dallas Cowboys' veteran defensive end making his presence felt early and often against the Green Bay Packers. Irving lived rent-free in the personal space of quarterback
Aaron Rodgers, registering three QB hits with two of them being sacks.
In only one game, he's already reached the third-highest sack total on the team.
It unfortunately wasn't enough to keep Rodgers and the Packers at bay, as the Cowboys went down 35-31 in a game they could've won handily if not for ill-timed mistakes on both sides of the ball. In spite of those missteps, Dallas still had a chance to alter the outcome in their favor. In a game of inches, they fell just short yet again when Rodgers just narrowly escaped Irving's third sack on his way to throwing what would be the game-winning touchdown...
