David Irving Instagram

It's actually very hard to become an Eagle Scout.
It's a long process and then comes the trials to get that final ranking of Eagle.

I got to Heart. I know a few who made it to Eagle, but it's not easy.

There are avoidable things and things that are not avoidable. Irving getting hit by a meteor is probably not avoidable unless the government issued a warning before it hit him. Smoking weed and getting suspended when you know it is a banned substance is avoidable. I highly doubt someone held him down at gun point and made him smoke it. Irving is his own worst enemy. He is not a victim.

No. He smokes weed like a pothead in his doghouse and watches the thieves rib the house and then gives them a "high" five on the way out of the house with the loot.

No one is saying (at least I'm not) that we want him to get hit by a bus. No one is hoping bad things happen to the guy. But he is not a victim. He has made really bad choices which seem to be ongoing and continue to affect the team.

He has made seriously bad choices which apparently date all the way back to college. He can't even use the "I was young, dumb and didn't know card" because that ship sailed a long time ago.

My comment was in regards to moving forward. He's not wasting a roster spot nor is he being paid as far as I know. Besides that, even when he was being paid he signed a one year 3M dollar contract. Not like he was breaking the bank. You want me to worry about that? I'm worried more about guys that want Khalil Mack money and don't show up for the playoffs. Or some other guy looking to make 25-30M a year and barring a Romo injury might not be starting for an AAF team. You want to talk about hurting the team, start there.

There is plenty to complain about. There always is a lot to complain about if we aren't winning Super Bowls.

I think it bothers some people more than others. Keep in mind that this was a guy that some people on this board would have listed as one of the five (or ten) top players on the team and wanted to sign him to a long term contract.

People are going to expect more from someone like that than the #53 man on the roster. I don't wish the guy any ill will going forward.

But I do think he is an idiot and it chaps me that he was such a tool as a Cowboys player during his time here. Many others feel the same way. Surely you get that.

Yeah, there is no Cowboys bias out there!!!! Right. The earlier suspension would have helped the Cowboys in terms of salary and cleared a roster spot. Because the suspension would have helped us, it didn't come until later.

About how woods treated his teammates to dinner.he sounds like a classy person and great teammate

No argument from me here. What's done is done, nobody is happy about his actions as a Cowboy. I just write him off like I did Gregory because he's got a long road ahead of him and the team has to move on. But I wouldn't give either one a long term contract or big money. Can't trust them.
