David Irving Instagram

"I'm here on natural ability ."

See that, Rico? That's the attitude you want to avoid at all cost.

Dez isn't here because there wasn't enough development of his skills beyond his natural ability. And Irving is no Dez.
Dez isn't here because Romo isn't. Just like with Witten and Terrance Williams.

Yeah I don't get why people trash the guy. It's his life and we don't have anything to do with it. Same with Gregory. At one point I wrote him off but I was never one to say get rid of him. Wait and see. I'm not paying these guys. I have no problem waiting it out. That's not to say I'm not disappointed in Irving and was with Gregory. But I'm glad Gregory is back and would have no problem waiting out Irving too.

This is our team. We are the fans and while we don't pay his check directly, it is our time and our money that make the business of the NFL viable. Without the Fans, the NFL is nothing. We want to win, we want teams that we enjoy and wasting time, money and resources on players like Irving only server to set those goals back so yeah, get rid of his dead arse and let it serve as reminder, we don't settle for craptasitic in this organization. You are who you are because you stand for something. That's in the NFL or in life. I, for one, do not wish to stand for this type of player.

That's why people trash this guy, IMO.

Not sure where ANYONE sane would compare the two.

LT loved football AND partying but he loved football.
DI simply could care less about football beyond taking pride in being good at it.

LT played in 16 games in 5 of his first 6 league seasons and he did so again his very last season.
He was a cokehead that didn't miss games.
He was not a guy that disliked football.

I thought you put me on ignore.

The last thing in the world this guy wants to do is go to football practice.

He doesn't like football.

Why do we continue with guys who simply don't want to play?

Fans might be, but from everything I have read and heard about the team, they're done.

Not showing up is considered a failed test.

And having already been suspended he is in the protocol.

The real question here is why he wasn't suspended last year
Cause he wasn't showing up for anything.

Pretty simple isnt it?

I’m with you. I don’t need all my players to be choir boys. All teams need some dogs.

I need BITING, junkyard dogs on constant patrol.
Irving stays confined in his kennel and occasionally barks

Fish called bs on this, he said that if he anyone told him not to show up it was probably a teammate on a drug test day.
Yeah. And didn’t Irving say this “person” was more controversial than he was? Was a strange remark.

Well that’s the drawback of Ro and Irving’s of the world. Brass ring right in front of you and life gets in the way just like all of us.

Dez isn't here because Romo isn't. Just like with Witten and Terrance Williams.

Romo made a number of players more viable than they are without him. But Dez's contract would have still needed to be cut. When the physical dominance left him, he didn't have deep skills developed over years to rely on.

what a DB..does he not realize actually being on the field more so then not is also important..

What part do you not get? He got suspended. He has been an ongoing problem to the Cowboys. He wasted a roster spot and salary that could have gone to someone else. If you are a Cowboys fan how could that not matter to you?

No one is saying (at least I'm not) that we want him to get hit by a bus. No one is hoping bad things happen to the guy. But he is not a victim. He has made really bad choices which seem to be ongoing and continue to affect the team.

He has made seriously bad choices which apparently date all the way back to college. He can't even use the "I was young, dumb and didn't know card" because that ship sailed a long time ago.

Bashing what he has done and what he has done to the Cowboys is legitimate criticism.
