David Irving is Chris Canty part 2.

I don't see it other than Canty was tall also.

Canty would not have lined up at DE in a 4-3. Canty was listed at 320 pounds.

David Irving is listed at 273 pounds, although he's probably somewhat bigger than that.

The book on him Bleu is that his motor is so intense that Marinelli feels he has to spell him because he runs out of gas after a few consecutive plays. But man, when he's got it going he looks like Lawrence Freaking Taylor.

I think Rod will be monitor his snaps to keep him fresh. He emptied his tank the other night and had NOTHING left. I commend him for his game and effort, but he's not in peak shape to play the whole game, all 3 downs each series right now. The biggest thing I like is that he gained tremendous confidence from his performance. That said, Tampa was playing their 2nd and 3rd string RT's to block him....Cherilous got replaced be a rookie at the end of the game.
The Lions tackles are pretty solid: Scherff and Decker; although it should be noted Decker is a rookie.
