All that matters now is winning two games in five days vs Washington and Oakland. I think both games are must wins, and I think our guys need to win comfortably both times. We need good stuff to happen offensively. We need to score some points and move the ball consistently. We need the running game to be a legit threat. They can gain some real confidence as a team by winning and controlling these two home games vs poor teams.

Ken Hamlin is out 2-4 weeks, IMO that isnt such a bad thing. I hope they give Alan Ball a shot at FS. We might all be pleasantly surprised. Colombo is gone, thats bad, but we now all get to see what we have in Doug Free. He didnt play great yesterday, but of the 5 OL's out there, he was hardly the worst. He played admirably and with all the reps in practice, he might also surprise us.

The Skins are coming off by far their best game of the year. I dont expect us to win by 4 tds, but there is no excuse for not learning from their tape vs Denver and seeing that they are gonna try and come out and run run run, and probably try to run some more. Cooley isnt here, he's their best receiving option. We have good CB's so we should be able to cover their WR's. No excuse for our 7-8 guys up front to not focus on stuffing the run and putting Washington into long yardage situations.

Oakland is pathetic. They have absolutely no offense to speak of. Their passing game might be one of the worst in league history. Jemarcus Russell was benched again yesterday apparently. If we dont run them off the field at home, on national TV, something is seriously wrong.

After losing the way we did at Green Bay, there's just zero excuse for our guys to not be really fired up and 100% focused on these two extremely winnable games. The season isnt "over" if we lose one of these games, though I do believe it paints an obvious picture of whats ahead if we do blow one of them.

We'll pick JaMarcus twice and he'll throw for about 80 yards.

Thanks. I needed that.

If we're able to get to 8-3 still, and I believe we can and will, then I'm still feeling pretty good about 11-5 for the year.

Truthfully, I moved on while the game was still on.

The score didn't reflect it, but early on, I felt the game had the same feel as the 44-6 Philly game all over again.

You know, WG, I had the same feeling. In that 44-6 eagles loss, I felt we had the wrong offensive game plan going in. As that game started it was clear we did, yet Garrett stuck to it - stubbournly - and his players gave up on him. As the offense quit the strain on the defense was too great and the game blew up.

In this Green Bay loss, I saw a similar thing; Garrett was passing when he should've been running. The offense failed to click because nobody was on board with Garrett's plan. everyobdy on offense but Garrett could see it. This put the defense in one-too-many bad spots. this time the defense still help itself up (they gave up 10 points only; the refs gave green bay another 7). But the offense quit on Garrett early, but at least it did not ultimately quit on itself, as they had enough pride to score that TD to avoid the shutout. But they quit on Garrett - I have no doubts about that!

They better play Free imo.

I hope that garbage about sliding BIGG over and playing Procter/Holland at RG is just that. It's time to find out if he's the real deal or at least justify his place on the team. We're never going to be sure until he plays for extended period of time.
