My biggest concern going into this matchup with the Texans was how would the Cowboys offensive line handle the movement of J.J. Watt up and down the line of scrimmage. I thought it would be diff...

  • I really liked what I saw from J.J. Wilcox in regards to playing better with his eyes. There have been too many times this season when I didn't feel like he was really seeing the play develop, and it caused him to take a crazy angle to the ball or miss a tackle. He was a much better player in space today, and by playing that way it allowed him to finish more plays. It was a nice step in the right direction.

All I can imagine is closing my eyes and seeing Ro, Bruce and Sean on the field together. We just need to make sure that Hawkeye and Trapper are on the sidelines every game...

Good read. The point about having to go to the silent count at home is troubling and disgusting.

I was in my car at the end of regulation, listening on the radio, and when Bailey kicked it, all I heard was a loud roar, and then Sham say "no good." I was angry, not just because he missed the kick, but also because it sounded like the game was in Houston.

Yes. But unlikely to happen again. Houston fans did not have far to travel.
So that makes it easier.

Cowboys keep winning and that will likely help too.

Want a stat that helps you understand why the Cowboys won this game? The offense managed to convert 57 percent on third downs against the league-leading defense in that category. The Texans thrive on getting their opponents in those situations where they can cause the most problems, scheme-wise, but Cowboys were outstanding in not allowing them to control the game that way.

This is one of the three most important stats IMO. They lost turn overs though.

I don't see a crowd like that again. It was a road game on 3rd downs and we did a wonderful job keeping drives alive.

  • Jason Witten continues to make us all look smart for drafting him in 2003. Proud to say I was in the room that day. He is truly a one of a kind player.

They passed him in the 2nd round to take Al Johnson. I was screaming for them to take Witten in the 2nd. I had him rated as a 1st rounder.

Here's the deal. This is a 100K capacity stadium. Teams with a good following will make up half of the stadium's capacity. Newsflash, not everyone in DFW are Cowboys fans. Being a transplant region, it's not surprising. Blame Jerry. I live here, but I can't afford to take my family. Actually, we probably could go once or twice per year but the price isn't worth it. I've been to at least 5 different sporting events out there and each time I could hardly take my eyes off the big screen.

I don't give a damn who shows up because all i care about are wins and losses. If there were 93k blue & white jerseys waving rally towels but they lost would we be saying "Wow what a great crowd", or would we be pissed at the loss?

Stop biatching about the crowd....for those who constantly whine...if you don't like ...YOU go buy the tickets to make sure there are Cowboys fans in the seats....it's like, don't complain who is in office if you didn't go to vote....

Ah, I wish I was at the game. Live in Seattle, and unfortunately have more things to do than time to do them :(
