Couple things I noticed when the Cowboys practiced the two-minute during the 7-on-7 portion of this morning's practice:
* Roy Williams had what might have been his best period of practice so far this camp, catching three balls on rookie Mike Mickens.
* Mickens, on the other hands, continues to look like a rookie. There was a lot of talk coming in about him having a second or third round grade before the postseason knee injury dropped him to the seventh round, but he's playing more like his draft stock would suggest so far.
* Quarterback Stephen McGee looks like a rookie as well, which was to be expected. He's hesitant to get rid of the ball, and though he does have a big arm, doesn't seem ready to fit it into tight spaces.
* Sam Hurd's continuing his impressive camp. He made the nicest catch of practice, diving on a seam route after beating DeAngelo Smith by a half step.
