Based on the special teams practices all week, it appears linebacker Curtis Johnson and wide receiver Kevin Ogletree will both be in uniform for Sunday’s game in Philadelphia.
For Johnson, it would be his first game since Carolina on Sept. 28. The outside backer has been nursing a hamstring strain, but even when he returned to practice, Johnson has remained inactive for the last four games. But he’s practiced all week on special teams and could replace Steve Octavien, who has been active for every game.
The thought behind that could be the Cowboys’ need for more pass rush against Donovan McNabb and Johnson might provide a better rotation.
As for Ogletree, he would be the fifth receiver active for the second straight week. While he provides some depth and speed on offense, it does take away a player such as rookie linebacker Jason Williams, who was inactive last week.
