Might want to hold off on ordering that Tashard Choice jersey just yet. If you just must have one, make sure it’s donning the No. 23. With Cowboys safety Keith Davis returning to the club on Wednesday, apparently he’s getting his old number back. Davis will sport No. 29 once again, which moves Choice, a rookie fourth-round pick over to No. 23. Man, it didn’t take long for the Cowboys to move on from cornerback Evan Oglesby. Not only do teams pack up their locker and stuff it into a trash bag when you’re released, but they’re quick to dish out your jersey number, too. So Davis goes back to 29 and Choice goes to 23. If you’re keeping up with the jersey number changes here in the last week, you know that Tank Johnson went from No. 66 to No. 95, which was worn by rookie Marcus Dixon in the preseason. The undrafted rookie from Hampton is now wearing No. 92 as a member of the practice squad. - Nick Eatman

I heard KD just told Tashard that he was going to have a new best friend if he didn't give that jersey back.

Davis told him that he would just hang around and always be at his side no matter what.

I guess the health risks were just too much for Tashard.

Tenure has privilages.

Does that mean if we resigned Kenny "The Shark" Gant he would get #29 and Davis would have to switch numbers? :laugh2:

I liked Tank with #66... 95 is gonna take some getting used to.

As big as tank is now, he will still look small compared to Ferg.

I hear ya... I just like that he stuck out in the pack.

Oh well... non-issue really.
He looks ready to go with a full COWBOYS training camp under his belt.

#29 had a target on it anyway.
Bullet magnet. Choice couldn't go out in public with #29.

Truth is, that jersey was too heavy from all the Kevlar. Choice shold be faster now.

23... I guess Tashard couldn't get his number from college here. His number at GT was 22 wasn't it?

I thought Ferguson was considered small for a NT?

They have identical measurables, 6'3" and 305 lbs.

i would not have given it up. his senority left the day he signed with Miami.

too bad choice is a rookie. It don't matter about seniority. Guy is a rookie. Davis has started in an NFL game. Davis is expected to make a contribution to this team. Choice's job is to sit on the bench and wait for the 4th quarter when we're up 30 points to get in the game.
