It’s rare for any football team to be relatively injury-free this deep into the regular season. While the Cowboys do have 10 guys on the injury report, all of them were on the field and expected to practice with full participation on Thursday.

Once again, the Cowboys bussed over to Standridge Stadium in Carrollton because of the wet fields at Valley Ranch. But of course, moving practice around has become somewhat normal for this team.

Being fully healthy has not. Now the Cowboys aren’t too worried about guys like DeMarcus Ware, who has a stress fracture in his foot, or Marion Barber, who is not only battling a lingering quad injury, but now a fractured left thumb, that was in a cast Thursday.

Broken thumbs have been a theme around here, with Gerald Sensabaugh and Leonard Davis also having the same injury.

Felix Jones practiced again with a brace on his knee but it appears he will be ready to play for the first time since initially suffering the sprained PCL against Carolina on Sept. 28.

not bad, considering at this point last season we were decimated with injuries.
