Tense moment in the Falcons game when Tony Romo took a blow to the head trying to run for a first down on the Cowboys' second drive.
Romo was checked for a concussion while backup Jon Kitna began to warm up on the sideline. As it turned out, the real pain was in the quarterback's neck. Romo wore a heating device for part of Wednesday.
The bump was't bad enough for Romo to appear on Wednesday's injury report, though, and Wade Phillips said his quarterback was fine. Romo ran for 31 yards Sunday, and had another long gain called back by penalty.
It was the most rushing yards Romo has had in a game since he scrambled for 36 against Miami in Week 2 of the 2007 season.
"I holler 'get down,'" Wade Phillips said. "We anticipated some. (The Falcons) play a lot of man-to-man stuff where the quarterback, if it wasn't there, could maybe make some yards rushing. That was part of our overall gameplan."
