The line that sticks out here with me is that Scandrick didn't have a good week of preparation.

While many here are quick to blame Wade Phillips for everything under the roof of Cowboys Stadium, the preparation of the defensive players does in fact rest squarely on Wade's shoulders, and for a divisional opponent there is absolutely no excuse for a starting defensive player to be unprepared. Zero.

Me too. What's up with that? What does it mean exactly? Of course, the lightening quick media misses that and probably asked him if he thought he should still be starting...

Seriously, how does that happen? Did he not study enough? Were they not drilled enough on tendencies? What exactly made it bad?

I think that's an admission of HIM not preparing enough. He looked totally lost Sunday.

if it's me I start scandrick, if he performs he is the starter, he fails that was his last chance till training camp next season. Back in the slot.

Sorry, he lost the job to Jenkins. Those were scrub WRs he was covering. Jenkins should be the starter from here on out.

He should just go ahead and start Jenkins and keep Scandrick in the slot so they can both get as good as they can get at their respective positions. The secondary appears overwhelmed as is. Give them their assignments and let em get good at it so we can tighten things up already. It clear neither one of them get enough reps this way.

Start Jenkins. Put Scan in the slot and either pay him when he reaches free agency or let him go. It's not that tough.

Maybe he did everything he was supposed to, but just had a hard time getting it right on the field? You guys act like this stuff is easy, just show up to practice and study the playbook and everything falls into place. But maybe he needed to change some tendencies and do things he wasn't used to, and struggled with it.
