The same people who were in charge of that search are in charge of this one. There's no Bill Parcells around anymore.

Prescott, Moore, Showers.... I'm oozing with confidence that they've got this.

He's one of those guys that I'd love to see do well in the league, too bad it probably isn't going go happen for him here, not with the addition of Prescott.

Crazy to think there's 4 QB's with a legitimate chance to make the roster, that can't be very common across the league. We obviously have 1 lock, and Dak is pretty much a lock as well after spending a 4th round pick. Kellen is likely the backup, but in theory I guess he could be pushed off the roster if Showers and Dak show REALLY well the rest of the offseason, and he doesn't.

You and I had as much to do with Romo here than Jerry and Stephen, Rowdy.

Do you really want to review the career of the great Bill Parcells and his talent acquisition and the bum careers of Jerry and his fat born son? There's a reason why Bill had to come in here in 2003 and clean up the laughing stock of a mess those two idiots had this team in. There's a reason why he left a playoff contender. The bottom line is no Parcells means no Romo. Jerry couldn't find a Romo in two lifetimes.

Oh, and I know you threw that out there hoping I was dumb enough to just go along with it, but show me where Bill was against Ware in Dallas. I know the real story and I know the twist you put on it, but I'm interested in seeing your fantasy you call an explanation.

No. I see the same bum owner and incompetent son pretending they are personnel men while the underlings get shuffled. Same vision-less, reactive front office without a plan.

That's the same thing as 1994.

If they learned from their mistakes they would immediately step down from those positions. They aren't qualified. Aren't skilled. Have done enough to be fired 10 times over. If they were truly this voice of reason and much wiser from the experience they would no longer handcuff their own team by operating without a GM or a VP of Personnel.

When they do that they've learned. Until then it's more of the same with the occasional new wrapping on this gift.

I would have traded what I would have to trade to acquire the franchise QB and I'm not really concerned what a blue and silver face has to say about it after the fact. I'll trade Elliott, Smith, Collins, Tapper, Prescott and next year's 1st for the franchise QB. He means that much. Those other players are that irrelevant without one.

I don't think you want to review my track record in the draft and the abortion that is Dallas.

Who cares who a team is linked to? Teams are "linked" to a slew of prospects during the draft process. They talk to everyone. Is this your first go at it? This is the new benchmark for acceptance in Dallas? No, we didn't draft him...but remember how we interviewed him one time? Go Cowboys.

The bottom line is this team has been woefully mismanaged since March of 1994 and it remains so today. Just with different supporting actors. Jason Garrett is the new Chan Gailey. Will McClay is the new Tom Ciskowski. Nothing has changed but the date on the calendar.

Scouting assistant Chris Hall stated Parcells pouted for 2 hours after we picked Ware as he prefered Spears. Parcells also wanted to trade back up to grab Spears. Its been spoken of for some time. Its also published and a simple Google search will show you that. Parcells was great here but your acting as if he was infallible is incorrect. Passing on Jackson was flat stupid. Im by no means a Parcells hater but you act as if he won us superbowls.

I would have traded away our draft class for a franchise qb also. The problem was there was no Luck or Manning in this draft. You're pretending Wentz was that player doesnt make it true.

They have shown a reversal in philosophy over the last few years. Our building from the trenches illustrates that. We are also much more financially responsible. Im not sure how you can say that isnt a change from years past.

I see what the Cowboys are doing here. They are giving Showers the chance to sink or swim. If he can out perform Moore in the offseason, he will swim. Otherwise, he will sink his way off the roster. I like Jameill Showers and hope he finds a team that he has a shot for some playing time. Unfortunately, that team isn't the Cowboys as long as Romo is healthy. IMO, unless he is willing to change positions on offense and play special teams, his time on this team is coming to an end soon.
