Nothing surprising in here. College to Pros a whole new world. One thing for sure. He handles the media really well, and looks like he is having fun already.

Great Pick JJ, SJ, JG and scouts...

He also commented on how impressed and shocked he was in the shape Darren McFadden showed up to camp.

For those that think McFadden is a goner, I believe they will be disappointed. Zeke was brought in to be a 3 down back but if Zeke was unable to perform those duties for whatever reason, McFadden is the only other back on our roster that is versatile enough to handle those duties and he also has the trust in the coaching staff which says a ton considering how reluctant they are to put a back with less experience in the backfield with their aging QB.

Morris will be the one fighting for a job, he is just not versatile enough to be the main back in this offense. If Zeke shows he is a better short yardage option than Morris, Morris doesn't make this team IMO. He could stick around until Dunbar comes back though.

Think you may be right, but not for the reason you stated.
Been hearing all off-season that the reason Morris was bought in was that he fits the Cowboys zone blocking running attack - McFadden does not. I do think McFadden getting over 1000 yards says more about the line than him per say. Was stated that they had to change up the blocking to accommodate McFadden, and they wanted someone who they would not have to keep chopping and changing calls.
I do think all 3 will be on the roster this year, but to me, McFadden is the square peg in the round hole.

Zeke = 275 carries, 25 receptions
Morris = 105 carries
DMC = 100 carries, 45 receptions

This seems doable.

i think that zeke will catch more then 25 passes. I see 40-50. mcfaddon might have more also. we finally have running backs who can catch and extend plays after the catch now. we need to do more short passes to limit the hits on romo. I see dunbar making the team as a third down receiver when we go five wide receivers. I can see five receivers making the team but only four will be active on game day and dunbar will be the the fifth receiver. when dunbar is healthy and this a big if he can make defenses pay out of the backfield.

I just think the team trusts him and he is the only back on the roster besides Zeke that can run, block and catch passes enough to rely on.

I think Morris was signed more of an insurance policy in case we decided not to prioritize a running back in the draft. We had confirmed interest in Forte and Miller, Morris was our last option.

Zeke certainly isn't the first rookie to be surprised by the difference in the pace of the pro game and the college one. By his own statements lately, he also declared the second day seemed much easier than the first one, once he had gotten himself mentally adjusted to the change. He'll be fine.

It'll be interesting to see how it shakes up. I think Dunbar is a goner for Jackson and I can't see both McFadden and Morris being kept.

I am liking what I am hearing about D Jackson, but you have to like what Dunbar was doing in his limited opportunities last year. Rooting for Jackson. Should be interesting
