I honestly believe it’s them feeling more comfortable with me. They’re some great players, so I feel alright. So I just think it’s them getting a better feel for me, understanding that I’m going to give my best out there and knowing that we’re on the same page and we’re able to click on all cylinders without them having to worry about me.
Best harmony shared among offensive lineman is knowing the guy next to you is holding his own or dominating. That knowledge allows you to focus on your assignments and not worry about what your teammate will miss after each snap.

Sounds and looks like Cooper is establishing himself really well. That spells success for the team and cowboyszone. The sad part is Chaz Green may have allowed his golden opportunity to slip through his fingers. oh well. He will get over it.

Cooper has played better and better. Gotta give him credit. It's not just him, the whole line is playing better. Even the studs didn't look like themselves the first few weeks. Now they are rounding into form. A big run right now is possible with the uglies playing like they have the past couple games.

The best case scenario IMO was Green winning the LG job and staying healthy. But given the circumstances Green makes a great swing tackle because he can play either OT position well and fill in at OG, without getting banged up by playing every week.

Cooper playing well and seeming to find his groove here is a very nice development. As we all know our O line is our bread and butter so if he gets rolling it will only make us stronger.

huge development. Saw several pancake blocks by Cooper against 49ers. This changes alot of things but I still need to see it against better defenses.

The Oline has a similar feel when Collins got hurt last season and Leary came in. It also appears that Cooper is getting his mobility back that he had at NC!

makes me wonder how much of that "disappearing mobility" was actually confidence issue. He looked confident against 49ers and magically that 1st round athleticism reappeared.

Or know he can still be counted on as a key part of the Offense whenever needed

This is good to hear, although I'll feel better about such upon hearing this after playing a better team than SF. Nevertheless, it's always good to take such things into consideration. Hopefully, he'll continue to play impressively and help his team improve its performances. It's encouraging. Improving our OL play is something that should only augment our chances to compete well with those ahead of us in our division.

This makes me happy.

From the beginning, he had a positive attitude and seemed to accept that he'd have to step up to keep up w/ what's expected of him by the other OLinemen on the squad.

I think being part of a tight unit like this OL seems to be can go a ways to helping a guy gain confidence in himself.

Never bought that BS about him losing his agility NONE of his injuries would cause that. It was much more likely he lost confidence after being tossed around by 4 different teams in a relatively short time.

Becoming the starting left guard on what most still think is the most talented line in the NFL will do wonders for your confidence.

I had hoped this is what would happen. I NEVER thought Green could stay healthy. Whether its softness or bad luck or a combination of both Green will never be trusted to start.

4 first rd picks and a fifth who WOULD have been one makes this O line by far the theoretically most talented O LINE in NFL history

Big Jonathan Cooper fan so glad to see him figuring it out, especially as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

Like a few here have said, being the 5th best guy on a great O Line has to take some pressure off you. Also get the feeling guys like TFred, Zack, and La'el, along with Dak and Witten, are super positive influences for him. (Tyron is quiet).

It is not a coincidence that the running game has taken off since he was inserted in the lineup.

It was painfully obvious in preseason and in the first couple games that there was no cohesion with Green. He is a Tackle. Never played Guard and really his skillset doesn't fit guard. There is no shame in that. Just try to be the best tackle you can be. He isn't going to start over Collins. Might as well get our 3-4 years out of him as a cheap swing Tackle and then look for another. The other two guys are on long term deals and aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Be nice if Cooper and Collins settle into their spots and play well the rest of the year.
