Your reasoning is that no QB because they will sit on the bench and then say lets get Smith?
Meant Ramsey not Smith

Okay. What's special about Ramsey that makes him a better selection than one of the QBs at four?
Between him and Byron Jones we have our free safety position handled permanently. And the other can handle 1 of our cornerback spots. Get a qb in the 2nd round who can develop the same way you want our #4 pick qb to develop. He won't be playing for a few seasons
Fair enough. Name that second round quarterback.

I like wentz, Connor cook, or hackenburg all for our 2nd pick
Wentz will be long gone
the lesser QB's will be allowable

That doesn't help us, IMO. Wentz most likely will not be there and I see nothing in Cook that translate to franchise QB.
there was no bigger hole then the back up QB last year
and it lost us how many games? This #4 pick can not
only be the back up next year he can become the starter
for the future . thats good savings

Cook, Hackenberg.
{soft chuckle}
Wentz. Second round.
{hearty laugh}
Cook has the potential to be a franchise qb man.
{louder chuckle}
We'll see who's laughing if we revisit this in a few years
If it means getting the next Claiborne versus a competent heir to Romo, you bet it does.
It can be argued that the D lost just as many....
I agree with you for the record, but Claiborne could easily be replaced by the next Patrick Peterson
