I was wondering with his size and some experience if they would try Efe Obada at tight end maybe he would be a good 3rd down target or end zone target. What are your thoughts?

Bryan: From the video workout that I was able to observe, he appears to have a feel for how to play technique-wise as a defensive end. He is far along with his hand use, but he is going to need some work with his feet to put that all together. Coaches are excited to work with him.

David: I have a feeling the Cowboys are going to take a look at him in several different spots, because quite simply I doubt they have a great idea of what he can do. There just isn’t much in the way of film on this guy. And the film that does exist doesn’t exactly have him going against top-notch talent. They’re hopeful they can get him here in time for the offseason program to begin on April 20, and he should certainly be here for the rookie camp in May. I’m primarily interested in seeing him work as a defensive end, but he has been training at tight end, as well.

I think he is there to compete with Demarcus Lawrence...if anything, he might even turn out to be better....wishfully thinking

I'm amazed this article exists.

This guy is the definition of a project.

An interesting project, but a project nonetheless

He's what the practice squad is for. Intriguing athlete and I'm very interested to see him in preseason, but a guy who has played half a season of football in his entire life isn't playing a regular season game for at least a couple of years.

Parnell was a polished Tackle his second year with us in comparison to this guy. And he had only one year of playing O line.

There is no indication he ever played any football before those 6 games. There is so much you need to know -outside of playing your position- that you get with years of playing in High School and college.

But his measureables are truly off the chart so why not?

The way this defensive line has played...they might as well all be practice squad guys..anyone with some skill might make this rotation

If I was the Cowboys this guys would get the 1 on 1 treat to see what he got. You have some of the best DL resources around Valley Ranch to assist in this guys development. I would personally have the new HOF Hailey teach techniques and coach him up. He could possibly compete for the future. I think he has the drive to wanna be something special.
