Shutup.
Did we need a WR that badly this year?
No. If Terrell and Terry stay healthy, we still have a top 5 1-2 combo.

Will we need one next year?
Probably. And luckily, we have two first rounders now, and one in the top 10 most likely. We could get one of the top WR prospects in the country. Should we complain? Hell no.

I wanted Meachem, too. But I think they made a smarter choice at the end of the day, and they could get a better prospect than Meachem next year if they take a wideout with the Browns pick.

Stop posting thread after thread. You are not the GM. You do not know what is best for the team. You know far less about the players than Jerry.

How about we just support out phenomenal pass rusher and when next years draft comes, and we get a top WR and a top CB or S, you will be jumping for joy.

so, SHUTUP.

We don't need a WR this year. Terry Glenn is coming off two of the best seasons of his career. TO can be the best WR in the league. Crayton ain't bad either. And Witten isn't a sucky receiver either. And our 2 young WRs have good upside.

The WR with the 4th most catches last year was Sam Hurd with 5 catches. The year before our 4th WR had 6 catches. Anyone can get 5 or 6 catches in the NFL.

People have the right to complain if they want. I like the Spencer pick but it is not a rock solid slam dunk that he will work out here. The draft is an inexact science and I have no problem reading intelligent responses who would have gone in a different direction with our picks.

Just because I may not disagree doesn't mean they should "shut up".

Well I agree about the intelligent discussion but some of these threads today are just plain angry and over the top

I wasn't that ecstatic about trading out of the second, but I do understand that JJ loves the fourth round picks, and I wouldn't be surprised to see us package our late picks to move up some on day 2.

Yea sometimes that can really bite you. They had to take that first trade to much value with next years number 1 and of course gettting back into one to get Spencer seemed smart. At 53 there just was no value, I also think they really wanted two picks in the 4th and one is real early which is nice because you have all night to find a player you want.
