If I where a betting man, I would say DeCamillis will have a lot of upgraded talent to work with by the time training camp rolls around.

Special teams are like the red headed step child of the NFL, and their importance is often overlooked by fans.

The main components are already in place... Folk, McBriar, Stanback, Felix/Choice/Jenkins, Crayton/Austin..

Now we bring in Sensabaugh, thats a double hit right there. Not only was he a starting SS for the Jags, he was also a gunner on special teams.

Thats why he is already a huge upgrade over RW the whiner. You think that RW, even with all his inabilities, and when he was actually healthy, really wanted to be a contributor on special teams.... dont think so, the friggin over hyped POS looser...

............ sorry about the RW tangent,,, back on topic....

Sensabaugh
Octavien
Stewart
Battle

... all players that have been brought in to be role players on ST's. DeCamillis Boys'..

Octavien will be known throughout Cowboys nation as a hitting machine this year on ST's... just wait and see.

Remember Kenny Gant and the Shark dance,,, "O" will have to have a dance of his own in 09'!

Couldnt see them trying to upgrade an already "probowl" level position.
Why would you want to replace McB?

We'll see. The loss of Davis and Burnett won't help.

I hope these new guys are as good on special teams as advertised.

Basically it says there is some concern about his injury and they really like that kid from SMU

According to some on this board, Jason Garrett is the red headed step child.

Sidebar, but RW did play on ST when he was reduced to two downs. Also, he was injured on ST, so maybe he wasn't real good at that either.

That said, I like DeCamillis.. I think he'll do good things for the 'boys this year.

Your right WG, sad to say but RW's career can be summed up as being good at being hurt, and collecting a fat check.
If only he could have been half the player Woodson was....

This was his first year being hurt.

You must not have been around when he was drafted. This board was ecstaic, and while Woody was here he lived up to expectations.

Fans are fickle.

Thomas Morstead. He's way up there as number the 1 or 2 punter coming out. I guess that's who is being referred to?

I'll be really interested to see what happens at the bottom of this roster next season. Guys like Polk, Battle, and Octavien all flashed on special teams while more highly regarded guys like Patrick Watkins, Courteney Brown, and even Bobby Carpenter haven't taken the next step. Do you stick with the higher draft picks, or do you move on to other guys?

Correct, basically the article just stats the Cowboys will be working him out and have been showing a lot of interest.

When did we "lose" Keith Davis? Has he signed with another team yet?

Aside from Sensabaugh & Stewart, all those guys were on ST last season, and many from the season before.

Read may have been smiling too. DeCamillis is more touted & proven, but lets see if these same players can respond.
