Just because of the double standard being held to the Giants D vs. Ours. All the talk about how great they are now and yada yada. I heard a stat saying after their first 2 games (which are the only good QB's they've faced this year) they have only given up 4 TD's. I decided to take out the only games were we have faced good QB's and came up with the same number. Our D has only given up 4 offensive TD's in games other then NY and NE.

This doesn't make our pass defense any better, but it sure doesn't make the NYFG pass D any better either. I just don't understand why it's ok to throw out games for other teams and rationalize when the same standards aren't given back to us. I'm not saying the Giants are a bad team because I think they're a good team, but so are we and so is our D. Every team in the league has been torched by the Pats and thats not going to change. The only way they don't torch people is by shooting themselves in the foot and I don't see it happening.

Our pass D is actually better then theirs. Henry and newman together with the new D scheme is a advantage for us. However, The Giants cause more havoc at the LOS and pass rush. Their run defense isnt as stout as ours though.

Both D's in my opinion are about the same..

Been a fan since I can remember. I just wanted to point some things out to those who keep saying things that are one sided. I understand why it's one sided, because we don't pay attention to the NYFG and just look at the outcomes of games. It happens to all teams in all sports. It's even worse in baseball because of so many games and the fact that it's good to get a hit 30% of the time. It's all about the way you look at things and try to keep a level head about whats going on instead of listening to what BSPN and the other mediots are saying. It's always easier to ***** and moan then to look at what's actually going on.

Well not counting the Packers game they have played........

@ Washington
vs. Philly
vs. JETS
@ Atlanta
vs. 49'ers

Don't get me wrong. I am in not saying they aren't good, because I think they are a good team. They beat the teams they should and pulled off a big win @ Washington. Some questionable calls at the end of the game for Washington no doubt, but it was still a big win. Still in the end Washington is a bad offense IMO. Same as our win @ Chicago it was a big win regardless what people think. @ Chicago in prime time with their D still having confidence is big.

the one thing that the Giants have is that they are able to get pressure from their front 4. Unlike the Giants, we have stiffs in Canty and Spears

I'd say the one thing they have is Osi. He's playing great, even if some of it was at the expense of crapola players like Justice and whoever the Falcons and Niners rolled out there.

But their scheme is now a lot like ours. Tons of blitzing, which is great when it works, but bad for giving up long plays when your O-line picks it up. They'll get Romo a few times, but we're going to burn that secondary, too. They won't be facing Harrington or Trent Dilfer next time they play us.

Yes, but don't the Giants run a 4-3 where their front 4 expected to bring the pressure and we run a 3-4 where our LBs are expected to bring most of the pressure but a little help from our DL is good.

Am I missing something more obvious?
