News: Deebo in Dallas: Samuel Wants 49ers Trade

FRISCO - San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel apparently still wants to be traded. And instead of showing up at his team’s OTAs, he just showed up in Dallas….

Hanging out, at least for a moment, with Cowboys QB Dak Prescott.

Samuel is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is hoping to be paid top dollar before the start of the 2022 season.

Additionally, it appears that Samuel likes the idea of being associated with the Cowboys as earlier this off-season he “liked” a tweet suggesting he make his way to America's Team.

Cool Deebo wants to come to Dallas but I don't see this happening

 

They would never give him a big contract. Not happening ever.

 

You know, something this crazy is just the stuff Jerry might do. Makes no financial sense, but boy would it be fun to watch

So, if we cut Zeke after this year, would that free up enough money to sign Deebo? I can never remember all of the salary cap stuff
But I would imagine that the 49ers would want a crippling number of draft picks in a trade.

 

As I understand the problem in SF, he doesn't want a bunch of reps at RB. He wants more WR reps.

 

Will he take the vet minimum? And will SF take a sixth round pick in 2030?
If no to either…probably not happening

Deebo's using the 'Boys as leverage to make San Fran anti up with his wants -- he's only playing the money-grab game!
The Cowboys wouldn't be the team to say yes to his demands under any circumstances. Stephen would never hear of it.
