All the defensive NFL teams are either sitting at home our about to get knocked out of the playoffs in the Giants case.

It's looking like Offense will be the reason for a championship this year.

Chiefs and Seahawks are the only real good defensive teams left and even Seattle isn't nearly as good without Earl Thomas.

I want the snot knocked out of the Seahawks...and if has to be by the Cowboys, so be it.

that's what the giants defense did in the first half. then in second half they went man to man and started blitzing him when they got behind. also on offense they just stopped running. the giants were starting to have success on the ground then stopped. I just hope that the cowboys can win the time of procession because if we do not we will suffer the same kind of defeat as the giants.

Any adversity and Garrett abandons the run game. Book it.
The Boys lose and the delusional drunk defends him. Rinse .Repeat.

Just going by memory...but isn't it fair to say that every past Cowboys' SB winner had a top defense? I mean ranking near the top if not best in league status? I suppose that this year may be an abberation but our franchise's legacy of championship seasons has most certainly been built around great defenses...AND not-too-shabby offenses of course.

Shut up man

Consider the track record.

This is going to be a heck of a game. I can easily see it go either way. But I agree it's pretty foolish for any Cowboys fan to right off the team's chances after the season we've had and the way we're playing right now. It's going to come down to which team turns the ball over or makes the big ST mistake. I was looking forward to playing the Giants again, but GB is a close second. If we get through them to the NFCG, we'll have earned it. These are probably the two best teams in the NFC right now.

Myself, I want to face Green Bay and then Atlanta....two weeks to rehab and get final healthy, and a great Monday night game in Houston.

Our run/pass ratio is higher than every other team in the league. We ran for 191 yards at 5.8 yards/clip the last time we played them, in Green Bay. You'd have to be stupid to take your advice to book that.

There's a lot to be said for GB being as hot as they are. Those teams tend to win in the playoffs. That said, they really only heated up to the level we've been playing at, all along. And the game's in Dallas. We're healthier, more physical, have good coverage teams, and we owe them one. There's no chance we're going to come out flat. Really, this is just going to be a great game.

Thats what most will ignore when the talking heads discuss this game. Aaron who??

Can they stop Zeke. Nope.

The Texans had the #1 defense this season and are still alive but not after next week, Osweiler can't compete with Brady.

Before that game, remember when the storyline was the #1 rushing offense against the #1 rushing defense? Yeah, me either. :)

And I'm a thinking.....our rush defense is pretty good (ok better than good) but it won't matter unless Micheal loses his mind cause he is playing the Cowboys this week. Me also thinks....that will be ignored this week.

So hard to speak horrible english (on purpose) on message boards.

That's the toughest path by any team to reach the SB......by far :(

I know, beat the best to be the best but it sure would be nice to play Seattle at home after two weeks off. Every game so far(including next week) is pretty one-sided except our first one. Atlanta has an easy ticket to the NFCCG, just like NE on the other side. We truly have a gauntlet to run :flagwave:
