Boy, I must say that the boys on offense played their hearts out! Dak played excellent. 4 TDs. Elliott had around 120 hard fought yards. Beasley man! Way to come alive! Witten was pretty good too! Unfortunately, the defense was again this team's downfall. Rodgers has plenty of time to throw and in the end, we couldn't stop him when it mattered. D-Law is pretty much the only legitimate edge rusher we have. Honestly, the rest of 'em suck. Plus we need some beef in the middle. A 325 mean hog molly. Our run defense showed it's butt today badly...and it stank. That's a huge reason why. Jaylon is not ready and i have hopes that maybe he'll fully recover from that injury but you cannot plan around that happening. CBs look OK. Safety still sucks
Until we seriously upgrade the defense, and primarily the defensive front, both run defense and pass rush, games like today will keep happening - and most definitely in the playoffs.

How'd that work out a couple of years ago when Rodgers and company got beat by Seattle in the championship game? The same game Wilson threw 4 INTs? Simple. Seattle didn't allow him any time to throw, and forced a couple of turnovers. Bad defenses will lose to great QBs and great QBs will lose to great defenses most times than not.

The 2003 defense was good. It carried that team to 10 wins despite Quincy Carter at QB. Unfortunately, Parcells blew it up to install his vaunted 3-4 and the Cowboys still haven't recovered.

If you're expecting the team to score 20 points every half you're delusional. Show me the NFL team that averages 40 ppg.

Teams scoring 30+ rarely lose at home. Dallas has done it in consecutive weeks. Hint: that's not the fault of the offense.

I don't recall them carrying anyone......Quincy played decent enough to win 10 games and the defense played good enough not to lose games. That was a very weird year....

Green Bay has made the postseason in 9 of the last 11 seasons and is well on their way again.

They've had a good defense a few times along the way. And absolute trash many other times. Yet they remain in contention.

Here? We had a borderline HOF QB in Tony Romo for a decade. And basically challenged for the postseason once every other year.

Something has to give.
