Downs will be special but I'm not looking for some rookie savior in 2026.

This defense needs to improve as much as they can, wherever they can in just about every area. The priority should be elite coaching.

I think some great defensive improvement will come with the added experience to our young 2nd and 3rd year players.

I'm hoping that one or two in the group of Eziruaku, Revel, James, Liufau, Carson and Toia show great incremental improvement, perhaps even a breakout among them.

Personally, however, I want to see those front-seven rookies, Williams, Barham and Overton. I hope they will be the groundwork for a new Doomsday.

My hope is CP is better at adapting his scheme to what these guys do well than the last guy. My hope is this staff is better at teaching techniques. Ready to see all the drafted rookies in action and watch them grow with some good coaching.

One constant in life is that things seldom go like people expect them to go. Players that you expect to set the world on fire some have a slow start and others outperform their draft position.

Kinda. I'm not pulled in anymore. Eberflus woke me up to how badly things really are. Need to see something before I go full fledge.

I think we've done well by getting Downs. Not sure about Lawrence, but I love his upside and athleticism. I'm hopeful Barham will be solid at ILB and situational pass rusher. Having him next to Overshown on 3rd down give offenses trouble.

I like the Winters trade. I like the addition of Gary. Upgraded safety big time. I like that we've addressed D-line, LB, and secondary in FA and the draft and we should have competent starters on defense at all position.

Better than I expected. I expected a little more than usual, which is how it started with free agency. I feel like they really navigated the draft well and for the most part, made great picks. I loved the Winters trade.
