Defensive philosphy

I dont know how many weeks we can win by giving up 35 or more points. For crying out loud, why didnt they just lay out the red carpet and let Eli and Burries walk up and down the field with 10 yard hooks, in's, slants, etc. I know our secondary is weak right now, but hey, thats who we have and its not going to change. The only way these guys are going to grow up is to give them the oppourunity to make plays in all coverages and not just 10 yards off. Yes, we won but if we want to make hay in the playoffs its not going to be with giving up 35 points. Also, if our dline wants to get any sacks we have to play some bump and run at some points. Theres always a check off with the dbs 10 yards off. Our last five games we have given up 42,28,23,39 and 35. Its just the facts thats an average of about 33 a game and its just not cutting it. Im happy we won but Im looking towards the big picture. Let me ask the forum, how did you feel about giving Burries all the catches the Giants wanted to take. Our defense needs to improve bottom line. Good job Tony Romo [you killed me in fantasy football but Ill take a Cowboys win) and the entire offense. Opinions
