My "inside sources" said that Jerry had to get an emergency face lift.

He was afraid that if he was making the announcement he would be laughing too hard.

So with the new face lift his face will be too tight to laugh and so he would look serious at all the people in the audience who are shocked at the bad decision.

He's the kind of guy who excitedly makes an announcement swiftly after a decision is made.

A number of things could have slowed the announcement (contract negotiations, Norv's family considerations, etc.), but the announcement is taking longer than it might have.

Heard today that Frank Gore was trying to get ahold of Norv to talk him into staying in SF. Just a comment made by Dan Patrick on ESPN Radio.

Personally, I am not to fearful of Norv Coaching in Dallas. I think he will let his Coordinators coach. Would prefer a Ryan or Rivera, but we could do a lot worse then Turner.

Depends on who his DC is gunna be.
