Why even click this thread with such a weird mentality. Why even read the nfl zone? Seriously Murray should be on all fans minds this week because he will most likely be running pissed off after his ****show Sunday.

Really?

That's weird...........

That's exactly my premise. Why I "care" on Sundays.

Off to the "Fan Zone.........................."

When you carry the ball 8 times for 11 yards, you dont get any more carries. I thought Murray was supposed to break tackles and make his own holes? Didnt happen.

He carried the ball 4 times in the 1st half. You are making no sense. You realize, they run a 3 RB system. None of their RBs are going to get huge work loads no matter what they are doing. Which was dumb to even seek out Murray to give him that role.

How many times last year did Murray have minimal yards on his first carries? And did we just stop giving him the ball? No. You keep feeding it to him.

The fact is, he doesn't fit their style. They would be better off with just McCoy and Sproles. That's the runners that fits and that's what Chip always had at Oregon.

And it's one game. To say he doesn't deserve the contract is really premature. And as I mentioned, by that logic, neither did Dez. He had a really poor effort. And is now hurt.

Fact is that Murray is nothing without 400 carries and the best line in football. You are nailing it right on the head.

And there is NOTHING logical about your comparison to Dez. Dez got hurt. Its not even close.

And FYI......I would not have paid Dez that kind of money either. Close, but less.

The guy is a "bowling ball" once he gets going, but it takes him so long to get going... It's like he's doing a "Fred Flintstone starting his car" when the ball is handed off to him.

Gotta admit, I found it odd that Philly would pay him that much and proceed to turn him into a part time player...

If he has a great Oline that opens up big holes, then he has 4 yards to get going and can break a few tackles by running over people. The PHilly game is pretty much exactly what you will see from most backs when there are no holes. Murray is nothing special.

They already know what many of us who watched Muddy here know. That he is injury prone. Kelly admitted as much in an interview.

The bigger laugh in that game (it's only one game) was the performance of their new 60 million dollar cornerback, Byron Maxwell. He was targeted 11 times. He gave up 10 completions for over 170 yards and 2 TDs.

Another foolish team that thought paying big money to a cornerback was going to impact something.

No it's not. We talked about it all off season. This isn't some new revelation. He simply isn't worth $8M a year.

He is if you use him correctly. What he did for us last season was well worth 8mill a year.

He was what made this offense go in so many areas.

And 8mill in a salary cap that keeps increasing means nothing. We just gave a big contract to a DT who has never did anything in this league.

Remember this preseason offense that scored 40 at will and was going to terrorize the league?

Yeah, me, too.

Dallas only held to him to 72 this game. Inches that is.

I have no idea why the Eagles want to use him on plays that go laterally outside the tackles. He is a downhill runner. It reminds me of when the Vikings got Herschel Walker.
