Rusty. But some of us warned about this. The Kraken took the double teams last year leaving Lawrence one on one against the RT. Much easier job.
Those ppg is looking real good Roy.

It always seemed to end up in a big pile of players in front of Rodgers.
Without pulling off a trade I don't think there is much that can be done to produce a great pass rush. Guys are giving effort but we just do not have the people up front to bring a consistent pass rush. Even with the blitz we are not very effective. Not trying to get down on the defense because as a unit I think they are playing good ball but when it comes to the pass rush we are still lacking.

That generally seems to be the story on the"rush" for the last 2 years.
Nope, there isn't much that can be done at this point.
Just have to hope some players start playing better with a slim possibility that Gregory comes back at the end of the season.
Did he play yesterday? Irving showed up as did Collins, but I don't recall hearing Lawrence's name called at all.I didn't see any pass rush at all. Even though our coverage was stout, we just didn't get there.
If you're coach for a day, how would you fix the pass rush? Our current pass rush won't carry us very far in the playoffs.
True. I think as the season progresses that Lawrence should make a bigger impact as he get himself back into game shape. Guys just need to continue to work and improve. Right now secondary is playing their butts off. So many times Rodgers had time but when they showed the down field shot there was not a lot of openings to throw to.
The secondary has been stunning.
The best secondary play we've seen in a long time.
The pass rush is just not good.
They lack an athletic rush end that can wreak some havoc on one side. I like Lawrence, but he's not that type of DE.
I mean I watched the Commanders-Eagles game and we don't have a guy like Kerrigan. The Eagles actually thought their first time starting, rookie RT could handle Kerrigan and Kerrigan dominated him. I don't believe we have a DE on the roster that could do what Kerrigan did to their RT.
The recipe is what we have seen. Bend, don't break. Don't give up big plays. Make the opposing team run a lot of plays on long drives and hope someone makes a mistake and we can cash in with a turnover or two.
Yah, I think its safe to say I am going lose that one. Happily so. But isnt it miraculous that you will be winning that one, and also probably lose the sack bet? No sacks yesterday correct?
For the defense to be THIS good with a bad pass rush tells you just how good our secondary is. And when Jaylon Smith gets healthy, no one will be able to pass on us. His best thing is his ability to cover and his speed.
Second game back is always harder then the first. He will be fine.
And we've done it with no scandrick the past3 games. Claiborne missed the second half and we still clamped Aaron Rodgers. I told you man I just felt like the defense was gonna be much better this year, when I was watching those guys in training camp they were going all out the atmosphere was just different. But actually David Irving had a sack yesterday to go along with his 3 forced fumbles
